OK, I'm trying it again.
This is me singing "Some Beach" at my hometown's 4th of July celebration. I thought that I had the stage fright thing pretty well licked by that time but it really kicked in. Must have been something about singing in front of the whole town full of people that I had grown up with. My knees were shaking so bad that I swore that everybody could see them shake. I noticed that everyone else had brought music with them to read while they performed. Should I bring music with me if I ever do it again?

Hey Randy, its not too bad man. It sounds like a legit performance messed up by anxiety.

I was a little disappointed that my wife cut the video off before the applause. That applause was very gratifying to me.
One guy in his 80's likes me singing that song so well that he has asked me to sing it at his funeral, that is a great compliment.

OfflineOk guys, i found the first recording i have ever made. It was maybe two or three monthes after i first started singing :

Nothing really too annoying for the ear, but its pretty clear that my voice was totally unnsupported. I had a tendency to back off which first avoided me to crush the ears of the audience as a beginner, but which later on provoked a host of issues.

I think this one is your worst/funniest. It's like mickey mouse meets Axl Rose lol
Also on the topic of backing off like you said, that is totally a HUGE dilemma that causes a lot of technique problems in males! I've heard a lot of non-singer music teachers become victims of this in class demonstrations - they either tense up and get shaky or just flip to falsetto. But I suspect their points would come across better if they weren't afraid to go above speaking volume and maintain more stable pitch control.
