Ok...enough with the "Let It Be" and Beatles. Let's get back to my love....Soul and R&B!! Laugh That's my thing!

Along with Ray Charles and Wilson Pickett one of my biggest influences is David Ruffin . He may even hold the lead at times. He sang such great hits as "Ain't to Proud To Beg," "My Girl" and many more for The Temptations.

One of my favorites is this song here. "I Wish It Would Rain." It was a tough song for me to get even this far along and I'm still trying. Sorry for all the recent song posts but I'm still trying to work my voice back after being sick for so long and I'm doing it by singing. This will be the last song.

I'm not completely thrilled with this recording, but it's the best I've got at the moment. But the voice is progressing. I hope I got this one Smile

Hi Tommy, i like your version a lot. Your sound on this song is a bit like Van Morrison but still your own, great interpretation.

I haven't been singing lately. That was about the 4th or 5th song I sang since November and it was the last since then. Been going through a bit of a rough patch and I haven't practiced in a long time.

Yea, I'm into blues and if you search through the song posts I have a few blues songs posted there as well as a few videos of me and a blues harp player I do collaborations with.

I love Van Morrison. I have been searching for a track for "Wild Nights" forever but can never find one. Well, at the moment, like I said. I haven't been in the mood to sing anyway.
