This performance made my jaw drop. The epicness starts at 3.08'. It looks almost effortless!
He is among the few singers in the genre who can sing this aria while maintaing the same register quality.

One interesting thing is that the reduction of vocal tract shifts is really a signature of great singers.

And its not just about the high F. At 5.02 and 5.12 with the creshendo, how he leans in head resonance.. Or at 5.26, how he starts with a light mix and brings back his chest voice. This is amazing

The most interesting thing was his support. Watch his belly shift all the way through it, compensating for each note.

He has a "noble" chest which he does collapse at times and rolls his pelvis up, if you watch carefully. He doesn't have the classical round "pregnant" belly that some classical singers have. His belly sucks in while keeping his ribs open. It's all gradual movement, nothing is static. Something I find hard to do. I always find myself locking in the support.

Great find.

Speaking of Operatic Mixed voice. Here is Rob Halford. He, in my opinion, is kind of overrated compared to Ronnie James Dio and Bruce Dickinson but he is still quite amazing. Though not as strong as he was in the 70s and 80s, his lower range has gained warmth and steeliness.

He seems quite chesty to G#5(4:18). I believe he starts using his head voice from A5 and above. Am i right or is he distorting heavily to gain that chesty sound. Its kind of hard to tell because sometimes when he sings it lightly with lots of vibrato so it could be a light mix. Anything from B5 to C#6 is definitely head voice though

Still an amazing vocalists but i won't consider him top 5. Top 10 maybe
