I really have worked hard for few months and am starting to notice a huge difference. Before, I'd literally strain on a D#4 so hitting G4-A4 with ease and fullness is really awesome for me. However, people say that my high notes sound funny or that I'm cheating the high notes. I use mixed voice to hit those notes. Also I have to keep a 'cry' in the voice to keep it connected. I tried posting this on other forums but instead of helping, they start debating on if mixed voice exists or not or there is no such thing as passagio, etc.

Also can you omit the cry if you wanna sing full cuz I can't find any way around that but I also tend to find it impossible to carry the 'cry' to B4 and above and so I disconnect after that.
