Your concern should be on becoming better than what you currently are and finding a way to work with your voice.

Thankfully "superstar" is not the only way to make a living. And as a matter of fact I know some "stars" that are living in their parents house again due to lack of money... ;)

What do i mean? I mean just giving up. Saying "I'll never make it", "Just because he/she can do it doesn't mean i ever will", "I'm just wasting my time"

This type of mentality is the worst of the worst. Such a bitter and antagonistic attitude will give you a 0% chance of ever making it in not only singing but also in life.

You know what you should do when people say "You'll never make it" or when you say it to yourself? Don't give a crap. Don't listen to it.

Let me give an example. When Freddie Mercury started out, it took him at least 5 bands to land Queen. At that time, he was a nobody and I'm pretty sure there were some Arse heads that said he would never be successful. Look how he turned out. Another example, the Beatles were rejected by Universal Decca records. If they gave up, would they have gotten to where they got to?

You can say. "Well, they were just lucky, they might have become successful but what about the other thousands who have failed". True, that is absolutely right. However, how do you not know you are that lucky one. In fact, now with things like Youtube, you can be your own artiste and have a higher chance of succeeding. Like Boyce Avenue, Pelek, Gootmusic and countless other successful bands/groups.

Even if it is just a 0.0000000000000000000000000000000001% of succeeding, it is better than giving up and having an absolute 0%. It's all about the hard work
