Just viewed Marnell's video on this topic today and tried it out. Wow! I guess I have spent way too much time singing way too quietly. When I sang in the medium loud volume he recommended, I got a lot of different sounds. It was especially noticeable in the high ranges. I probably got carried away wailing around to Led Zeppelin in the car today. But it was really cool to be able to do it. Thanks Marnell!

Glad you found it helpful. He really went over and beyond with this video, a lot of gold nuggets in there.

Yes indeed! I watched it in its entirety. I especially liked the singing while keeping one's body in motion. Although I often move around from room to room while doing my scales - when singing on a mic, I often find myself so preoccupied with posture and such, that I remain rigid and tense up. Accordingly, this was very insightful.
My thanks and appreciation to Marnell for taking the time to put this clip together
