No I wasn't trying to copy Stevie. I've sung a lot of Stevie's songs so maybe that's how I picked up some of his sound? Or maybe that's just how my voice is... I don't know... When I sing Stevie's songs I get close to his sound without even trying. But when I do some MJ, Justin Timberlake etc... I don't sound like them.

I can also do a pretty good Michael McDonald impression if you're interested haha

Yes you are right I think the last run was too much but it just happened... I don't like holding notes because I'm not very good at it. There's so much I need to work on

Awesome Job Nick, very good combination of some of Stevie's style but still combining it with sounding like YOU

Just chill out the runs a bit. Do them only when you really feel it's the right time, when it's kind of irresistible. Rather than letting them happen everywhere. Also don't forget the value of simpler options like just holding out a note, adding vibrato, playing with the rhythm, or simply leaving space.

Hello Nick,

Well I must confess support never made a lot of sense to me... What do you mean by rapid decrescendos? Any particular spot?

Well, that was great! Would love to hear your voice on the full song.

If i had one comment, it is that sometimes, you are a bit uncertain on notes when you do your rapid decreshendos. I suspect that it is because you release your support muscles when going down, but i am not sure.

Good job singing Stevie Wonder!
