Its all good man! You actually have a really awesome "singers accent" and thats all that counts hahaha. If it weren't for your name, I wouldn't be able to tell you were a native french speaker just from hearing that clip. You have really good English actually! A lot better than my French lol. My laptop speakers aren't the greatest either so that might have contributed to that effect too.

Thanks Wabba. I get what you say about phrasing. As a French singer, I used to do the contrary, being very harsh on consonants, which would create issues while singing in the high range. I worked with Phil to have a smoother pronounciation but for this song i might have gone too far in the opposite direction.
I still think your voice will shine more than mine on this type of song when you will hqve the ability to record yourself in a way that does more justice to your voice. You have a warmer mid and low range than me. Especially for the songs from LA woman where Morrisson's voice gets a bit bassy (due to abuse more than technique, but still love his tone).

Wow that was quite a cover dude! Your vibrato and tone was really cool and fluid throughout. I really can't think of anything critical to say, maybe you could have enunciated a few of the lyrics just a tad bit more in one or two areas. Jim was a poet after all Still thats just being nitpicky because there's really nothing to not like here. The recording was flawless by the way, a far cry from my undercompressed tin can sounds lol.

Awesome job man!

Damn smartphone. I lost my original message. The Crystal Ship cover inspired me. Even if i have more of a tenorish voice it was very enjoyable to sing.
