I just discovered this fresh new voice in the American classics scene! Her name is Delilah and she’s putting out American standards music that fans of Frank Sinatra would love. She just released an EP titled “Sarah +1, A Tribute to Sarah Vaughan” where she does these lovely covers of some Sarah Vaughan hits. The plus 1 track is a beautiful rendition of Charlie Chaplin’s Smile from the movie Modern Times. How cool is that? Right now, my favorite song is “Whatever Lola Wants” and you can listen to it on Soundcloud at: http://bit.ly/Delilah-Lola.

Dave Hendrickson, the operations manager at WJUB Plymouth/Milwaukee, says Delilah has a “Fresh, new voice…lots to like!" If you also liked what you heard, she has a Facebook at: http://bit.ly/DelilahFacebook and website http://www.DelilahMusic.com. You can also get “Sarah +1” on iTunes at: http://bit.ly/DE-iTunes.
